The National Institutes of Health marked the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of the Office of Research on Women's Health with the release of a newly revised research agenda on women's health, A Vision for 2020 for Women's Health Research: Moving into the future with New Dimensions and Strategies (A Vision for 2020).

On September 30, 2010, a briefing was held in Washington, DC about the new research agenda.

Featured speakers included Vivian W. Pinn, M.D., Associate Director for Research on Women’s Health, Director, Office of Research on Women’s Health, National Institutes of Health, Alan E. Guttmacher, M.D., Director, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health, Teresa K. Woodruff, Ph.D., Thomas J. Watkins Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Director, Institute for Women's Health Research, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Eugene P. Orringer, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Director, Education/Training/Career Development Core, North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (TraCS) Institute, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The film describes the story of 15 juniors and 14 seniors from Young Women’s Leadership Charter School of Chicago, who were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, to participate in a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about the emerging, new field of Oncofertility.
