The Women's Health Science Program is led by a dedicated team of scientists and clinicians at Northwestern University. This WHSP academy offers a sequence of challenging, thematic workshops focusing on the basic science research, clinical applications, and an emphasis on infectious diseases and reproductive health. Students are expected to apply their knowledge to create educational materials to share information about women's health issues, oncofertility, and infectious diseases with their peers at school and members of their local communities.
This year the Oncofertility Summer Acadmey will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2019.
Like all Women's Health Science Program (WHSP) academies, applicants must be Chicago Public School high school or charter school students in grades 9-12. Applicants should be passing all their current high school classes and possess a passion for science and/or medicine. The application deadline is Friday, April 26th, 2019.
