This section lists several programs or clinics affiliated with Northwestern that 1) focus on female specific conditions, 2) treat health conditions that are more prevalent in women, or 3) provide a gender specific approach to a conditions that manifests equally but differently in men and women. The Institute has partnered with the University of Kentucky’s Center for the Advancement of Women’s Health to replicate its Women’s Health Registry in Illinois. The Northwestern Institutional Review Board the Illinois Wome's Health Registry that will collect self-reported health information from women throughout Illinois. This Registry will provide valuable information about the health status of Illinois women and help researchers to focus on issues that are important to women. Please check this site for updates on the Registry.
