Northwestern's reproductive endocrinology and infertility program is a leader in the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of disorders that can cause infertility, as well as other diseases of the female reproductive system.
When a woman, man or teenage girl or boy is diagnosed with cancer, there is only a brief window of time to learn about options for preserving his or her fertility before treatment. Cancer therapy often has irreversible effects on a patient's fertility. Oncofertility -- the intersection of oncology and reproductive medicine -- is a new, rapidly advancing field that strives to preserve fertility in cancer patients. Fracture, Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease Program at Northwestern University evaluates inpatients during hospitalizations for low trauma fractures and consultation of complex metabolic bone disorders. The Intergrated Pelvic Health Program (IPHP), focuses on five main disease categories--urinary and fecal incontinence, bladder and pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, fistulae, and pelvic pain syndromes--and includes four medical disciplines---colorectal surgery, urogynecology, urology, and physiatry(rehabilitation and physical therapy). Women's Health Rehabilitation Program at RIC Program provides physical medicine and rehabilitation services for the specific health needs of women. The care at RIC focuses on pregnancy/post-partum, pelvic floor dysfunction and breast cancer rehabilitation. They also have experts who treat particular groups of women like adolescents, female athletes and women with complex conditions.

The Sleep Disorders Center at Northwestern Center provides day and night sleep studies for diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder, nocturnal behaviors (sleep walking, talking and eating in sleep, acting out dreams) disorders and narcolepsy.
